Octavia Hill’s Birthplace House welcomes large and small groups. Visits can be made by appointment outside the usual opening hours.

Groups are offered a guided tour:  The displays give an in-depth view into Octavia’s life and achievements. Groups can be welcomed with a short introduction and tea and biscuits before touring the rooms.

The maximum size for groups is approximately 30: Larger groups can be accommodated by staggered entry.

Peckover House: opposite the Birthplace House across the river on the North Brink. A splendid Georgian house with a magnificent Victorian garden, it is owned by the National Trust.
   
Elgoods Brewery & Garden:  open seasonally.
   

Wisbech & Fenland Museum -the home of Dickens’ Great Expectations manuscript and an extraordinary collection of exhibits.


The market town of Wisbech is best known for its North and South Brinks, the Georgian streets that flank the River Nene. The architecture has featured in many films, setting the scene for period dramas such as David Copperfield and Micawber.
